因臺大是期刊PNAS: Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America的2015年機構版訂戶，該期刊為支持OA（Open Access）政策，本校作者（Corresponding author）若投稿該期刊被accepted，並同意予以Open Access，

OA費用（Open Access Fee）就可直接享有折扣，由原本的USD 1,350 元降為USD 1,000。
