SCIENCE SUMMER PROGRAM 2018 is an 10 days academic program offered by Yamaguchi University Faculty of Science for students from cooperating overseas universities to study at our Yoshida campus.
This program provides students with the opportunity to take academic courses in FSYU 6 departments; Mathematical Sciences, Physics, Informatics, Biology, Chemistry and Geosphere Sciences.
Those courses are introductory ones, and the students in the areas other than science are also welcome.
The students go on an excursion to the Mine Akiyoshidai Geopark (
http://mine-geo.com), the biggest limestone national park in Japan, where they can go into the limestone cave guided by the staff of the Akiyoshidai Natural History Museum. They also visit Yamaguchi Radio Telescope center, where they can control the 32m radio telescope themselves. They surely have fantastic experiences.
