I hope this e-mail finds you well. I am Yung-Kang PENG current Assistant Professor of Chemistry at City University of Hong Kong. We would like to introduce the PhD scheme in chemistry at “City University of Hong Kong” and the “Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme”. Some details of “Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme”

With the aim at recruiting the best and brightest students in the world to pursue PhD study in Hong Kong, the Research Grants Council (RGC) of the Government of Hong Kong SAR has established the “Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme”. Each Fellowship recipient will receive financial award in the amount of USD170,500 for the 4-year PhD study. For awardees (through CityU), the university will provide extra financial support under the CYC SGS Entrance Scholarship, which covers the tuition and on-campus hostel fees in the first year of research study (USD10,396) and a conference/research-related travel allowance (USD1,705 per year).
