各位同學好,本次公告是關於 5/5 六樓 Bruker NMR 停機事件的概述及後續的處理 (經 NMR 管委會同意後發布):
5/4 晚上:同學 A 於長時間實驗時有 NMR 樣品管斷裂的情況發生,但未立即進行通報,並繼續進行實驗。
5/5 中午:同學 B 使用儀器時,發生樣品管卡在儀器中無法順利升起的狀況。
5/5 下午:同學 A 向管理員進行通報,前晚的實驗狀況有發生樣品管斷裂的情形。
5/5 - 5/8 期間探頭經反覆取出清洗、測試及勻場後,儀器始恢復正常。
同學 A 未於事件發生第一時間通報,並繼續使用儀器,
而是在隔天其他同學使用儀器發生狀況後,
此知情不報的行為已造成儀器探頭污染加劇,
並且若造成探頭永久性的損傷,需要送回原廠進行修繕 (至少需六個月以上,費用 30 萬元以上)。
同學 A 嚴重違反 NMR 儀器使用規範之行為,經管委會決議懲處為停權2個月,
近期內已經發生兩次較為嚴重的破裂事件,請同學操作儀器時務必
1. 確認樣品管是否有裝上轉子,是否有 lift。
2. nmr 樣品管是否老舊需汰換。
3. 變溫實驗時,確認測定的溫度以及溶劑的熔點沸點是否適宜。
若不幸發生破裂意外,也勿抱持僥倖的心態,
一有狀況應儘速通知管理人員並暫時停止儀器的使用,

Hello everyone, this announcement is about the summary and follow-up actions of the 5/5 Bruker NMR shutdown incident on the sixth floor (released with the approval of the management committee):
The instrument finally returned to normal. Student A did not report the incident at the first time of occurrence and continued to use the instrument. It was not until another student encountered a situation the next day that Student A reported the rupture of the sample tube in the instrument. This failure to report the incident resulted in further contamination of the NMR probe and the cleaning process was extremely time-consuming and laborious. If permanent damage is caused to the probe, it needs to be sent back to the manufacturer for repair, which takes at least six months and costs more than 300,000 NTD.
Student A's behavior seriously violated the rules for using the NMR instrument, and the management committee has decided to impose a two-month suspension and re-education training.
Two more serious rupture incidents have occurred recently. When using the instrument, please ensure that:
If an accidental rupture occurs, do not hold a lucky attitude. If the instrument is really permanently damaged, it is something that the entire faculty and students cannot afford. If there is a problem, please notify the administrator as soon as possible and temporarily stop using the instrument to prevent the spread of harm. Otherwise, irreversible situations may occur, affecting the interests of the entire faculty and students.
