化學系館於7/10下午約3點，七樓一間實驗室一名大學部專題生處理氫化鋁鋰(LAH)粉末時，因實驗操作順序不當發生災害，所幸該人員有實驗衣及護目鏡保護，僅右手二級燒傷和前額部分頭髮焦化，沒有造成沒有永久性傷害。經消防局及本校環安衛中心實地查訪，並未發現事發實驗室有管理上任何疏失，在此再次提醒同學們穿戴PPE及實驗室良好管理（藥品資料、受訓紀錄）的重要性。

Dear all,

At about 3:00 p.m. on July 10 in the Department of Chemistry, an undergraduate student in a laboratory on the seventh floor was dealing with lithium aluminum hydride(LAH) powder. An accident occurred due to improper operation sequence. Because the student was protected by a lab coat and goggles, only second-degree burns on the right hand and charred hair on the forehead, and no permanent injury was caused. After on-site inspections by the Fire Department and the NTU-EHS Center, no management negligence was found in the laboratory. Here, we would like to remind all members again of the importance of wearing PPE and good laboratory management (drug information, training records).
