以下為近期環安衛事件及說明。

10/1晚上，六樓實驗室在進行蒸餾時，疑似發生突沸，產生大量氣體導致氣壓過大，造成玻璃裝置破裂濺射，劃傷人員手部及臉頰。通報保健中心與駐警隊後將該人員送醫進行手術縫補，人員於事發時有穿著實驗衣、乳膠手套與護目鏡，但由於抽風櫥拉門過高導致臉部劃傷。該實驗室將購買擋板等防護設備，且抽風櫥將加裝限制不可超過安全高度；由於事發後無通報系辦相關人員，在此提醒實驗前後檢視器材設備，及發生意外後須立即通知系辦。

Below please find a brief account of the recent EHS event happened in our department.

On the evening of October 1st, while conducting distillation in the sixth-floor laboratory, a suspected sudden boiling occurred, generating a large amount of gas that caused excessive air pressure and resulted in the shattering of glass apparatus, leading to cuts on the personnel's hands and cheek. After reporting to the health center and the campus security team, the injured person was sent to the hospital for surgical stitches. At the time of the incident, the individual was wearing a lab coat, latex gloves, and goggles; however, the height of the fume hood's sliding door led to facial injuries. The laboratory will purchase protective equipment such as shields, and the fume hood will be modified to restrict access beyond a safe height. Additionally, since the relevant department personnel were not notified after the incident, this serves as a reminder to inspect equipment before and after experiments and to immediately inform the department office in case of accidents.
