Chemistry Department Graduation Awards - Dean's Award for CoS - Second-Round Review
一、參加對象(Eligibility)
4月21日公告口試時間表並E-MAIL複審名單。
On April 21, the oral examination schedule will be announced, and notifications regarding the second-round review candidates will be sent via email.
二、複審日期(Date of the Second-Round Review)
4月28日10:40-15:00。
April 28th, 10:40-15:00.
三、複審地點(Location of the second-round review)
化學系A215教室。
Room A215, Department of Chemistry
四、口試流程(Review Process)
- 口試簡報會提前安裝在A215的電腦裡，如您需要抽換，請於口試當天早上09:30-10:00自行至該電腦抽換。
The slides will be preloaded onto the computer in Room A215. If you need to replace or update your file, please do so on the day of the oral exam between 9:30 and 10:00 AM.
- 請提前於預定口試時間前10分鐘到場等待，並保持手機開機狀態，以備有狀況時可以聯絡。(若前一位口試提早結束，有可能會請您接著口試)
Please arrive at the venue 10 minutes before your scheduled oral exam time and keep your phone turned on in case we need to contact you. If the previous session ends early, you may be asked to begin your oral exam earlier than scheduled.
- 等待前一位同學口試結束，依老師指示開始。
Please wait for the preceding student's oral examination to conclude, and then begin as instructed by the professor.
- 請自行打開【簡報檔】進行口頭報告及QA即時問答。
Please open the presentation slides yourself for the oral presentation and Q&A.
博士班： 每人15分鐘 (5分鐘口頭報告，10分鐘提問)
碩士班： 每人10分鐘 (5分鐘口頭報告，5分鐘提問)
PhD Program: 15 minutes per person, including a 5-minute presentation and a 10-minute question period.
MPhil Program: 10 minutes per person, including a 5-minute presentation and a 5-minute question period.
- 請自行控制口頭報告時間約5分鐘
Please manage your presentation time to be around 5 minutes.
- Q&A結束後，待老師指示再離開。
After the Q&A session ends, please wait for further instructions from the professor before leaving the meeting.

Chemistry Department Graduate Graduation Awards - Dean's Award for CoS
一、申請資格(Eligibility)
113學年度(2024.8.1-2025.7.31)畢業之本系碩、博士班學生。
MPhil or PhD students who will graduate from our department in the current school year.
二、申請時間(Registration period)
114年03月21日至114年04月16日。
March 21st to April 16th.
三、報名方式(Online Application)：
以網路方式報名，經系上通知申請者，經由NTUCOOL上傳相關資料完成報名。
Complete the application form online first.
Please expect to receive the course invitation from NTUCOOL within approximately one business day after registration. Once you've received the invitation, you can upload your documents.

五、獎學金名額(Award Quota)
本獎學金得獎人數依畢業人數 10% 為上限，本年度預計碩士班最多21名、博士班最多3名(實際名額將於5月1日後確定)。
The award quota is capped at 10% of the total number of graduates. This year, we anticipate a maximum of 21 awardees for MPhil students and a maximum of 3 awardees for PhD students. (The actual number of spots will be confirmed after May 1.)
六、獎學金額度及核給辦法(Award Information)
博士班及碩士班院長獎學金依當年度理學院規定。理學院另頒發獎狀。
The Dean's award includes a monetary prize according to the regulations of the College of Science for the respective academic year. Additionally, certificates will be awarded by the College of Science.
七、審查及核定程序(Review Process)
由評審委員會根據送審資料及申請者口頭報告說明，擇優選出院長獎推薦人。
Selection by the review committee is based on the submitted materials and the applicants' performance in their oral presentations.
評審委員會，依下列方式評定之。
- 口試：4月28日於A215教室進行口試。
The oral presentation will be held in Classroom A215 on April 28.
- 獲獎公佈(Awardee List)：5月1日公佈院長獎推薦名單。
The list of Dean's Scholarship awardees will be announced on May 1st.
- 獲推薦者於5月2日前繳交歷年成績單及確定畢業具結書正本給系辦公室陳品光小姐。
After being nominated for the award, please submit the original copy of your transcript and confirmation of graduation to Miss Chen Pin-Kuang in the department office by May 2.
八、頒獎典禮(Award Ceremony)
畢業生院長獎頒獎典禮於5月24日上午在理學院舉辦，並邀請教師與學生家長觀禮，頒發院長獎獎牌與獎狀。
The Graduates Dean's Award ceremony will take place on the morning of May 24th at the College of Science. Supervisors and parents of the awardees are invited to attend. During the ceremony, Dean's Award medals and certificates will be presented.
九、本公告如有未盡事宜，悉依本校及本系相關規定辦理。
If there are any unaddressed matters, they will be handled according to the university and department regulations.
