連假將至，請各實驗室注意下列安全事項：

1. 烘箱、蒸餾器、加熱攪拌器及微波爐等加熱設備附近，嚴禁放置易燃物及易爆炸化學藥品，操作時需有人在現場，避免過熱造成危險。
2. 建議在連假期間不單獨進入實驗室操作，若有必要需做實驗者，先行知會安全官及負責老師。
3. 最後離開實驗室的人員，請確實檢查所有化學藥品是否擺放正確位置。所有水電開關、氣體鋼瓶、實驗設備之開關及實驗室門窗等是否確實關閉。
4. 工安櫃與緊急應變藥品使用說明影片
5. 實驗場所廢棄物不貯存於走道等公共空間。
6. 揮發性藥品貯存於抽氣式藥品櫃內，嚴禁將排氣櫃當藥品櫃使用。
7. 廢液桶應張貼分類標籤並由不鏽鋼承桶乘載，以免洩漏時隨處流動，甚至與不相容藥品接觸反應。廢液桶儲存時不可讓陽光直射，並遠離電力設備及火源。嚴禁將廢液直接排放水槽。
8. 未使用的氣體鋼瓶應使用鋼瓶蓋保護。
9. 實驗場所各人員應熟記實驗場所配置及應變設備使用方式(如電氣總開關、藥品櫃、排氣櫃、毒化物、氣體鋼瓶、安全資料表、個人防護具及逃生口等等)。
10. 若有緊急狀況，請務必通報駐警隊(#69110)處理。

Dear faculty, colleagues and students,

Please pay attention to the following safety precautions:

1. Flammable materials and explosive chemicals must not be placed near heating equipment such as ovens, distillers, hot plates, and microwaves. The operation must have someone present on-site to avoid overheating or prolonged heating, which could lead to danger.
2. It is recommended not to enter the laboratory alone during holidays. If it is necessary to conduct experiments, notify the safety officer and PI in advance.
3. The last person to leave the laboratory must thoroughly check that all chemicals are placed in their correct positions. Ensure that all water, electricity switches, gas cylinders, equipment switches, and laboratory doors and windows are properly closed.

5. Waste from experiments should not be stored in hallways or other public spaces.
6. Volatile chemicals should be stored in fume chemical cabinet, and it is strictly prohibited to use the fume hood as a general storage cabinet for chemicals.
7. Waste liquid containers should be labeled and carried by stainless steel containers to prevent leakage and contact with incompatible chemicals. Waste liquid containers should be stored away from direct sunlight, electrical equipment, and heat sources. It is strictly prohibited to discharge waste liquid into sinks.
8. Unused gas cylinders should be capped.
9. All personnel in the laboratory should be familiar with the layout of the laboratory and how to use emergency equipment (e.g., location of main power switches, chemical cabinets, fume hoods, toxic chemicals, gas cylinders, SDS, PPE, and escape routes).
10. In case of an emergency, please immediately report it to the campus security (#69110) for handling.
