2025年5月，經本系環安衛小組巡查，無成員違反環安衛規定。

另外某成員於進行packing column時，在拍打column使silica gel均勻分布的過程中，column突然破裂，造成左手食指割傷當場流血，經過簡單清洗與包紮後，先通報駐警隊，實驗室成員並協助前往保健中心緊急處置，該生傷勢穩定已無大礙。事後確認column在使用前已有明顯裂痕，且實驗室僅通報駐警隊未通報系辦。

系辦在此提醒意外事故應即時通知系辦，各實驗室應加強成員於操作前對器材之檢查訓練，特別是對於玻璃材質器具之裂痕或瑕疵辨識能力，並定期檢查實驗室內常用玻璃器材，若已劣化或有潛在裂痕之器材應予報廢或更換。

Dear all,

In May 2025, no members were found to have violated EHS regulations during the inspection conducted by the department's ESH team.

Additionally, during the packing of a column, a member struck the column to distribute the silica gel. Suddenly, the column cracked, causing a cut and bleeding on the left index finger. After a simple cleaning and bandaging, the incident was promptly reported to the NTU Campus security. Lab members assisted in transporting the individual to the health center for emergency treatment. The injury is stable, and there are no significant concerns.

Upon inspection, it was confirmed that the column had visible cracks before use. However, the laboratory only reported the incident to the on-site security team and did not notify the department office.

The department office would like to remind all members that any accidents should be reported to the department office immediately. Laboratories should enhance training for members to inspect equipment before use, especially in identifying cracks or defects in glassware. Regular inspections of commonly used glassware in the laboratory should be conducted, and any equipment that has deteriorated or has potential cracks should be discarded or replaced.
