化學系各位成員大家好：

有鑑於昨日(10/13)清運廢液時，部分實驗室沒有正確使用專用推車(將鐵護網拆下)，也看到無護欄推車運送廢液。

有關化學品(包含化學試劑、溶劑、實驗樣品、實驗廢棄物等)運送，系辦提供以下措施，並將視實施情形隨時調整。

• 化學品包含化學試劑、溶劑、實驗樣品、實驗廢棄物等。
• 在實驗場所以外運送任何化學品，須全程穿戴適當的個人防護裝備，化學品需適當封存後置於防漏的二級容器內。
• 運送廢液時應正確使用系上專用的廢液推車(或使用有護欄的推車)，該推車最多每趟可承載8桶廢液，使用後請存放於G60供下一位使用者使用。
• 廢棄物清運時，人員須著防護裝備，並各自派員留守至上清運車為止；未著防護裝備清運的實驗室，環安衛中心得拒絕清運其廢棄物。
• 穿戴個人防護裝備時不得進入教學及辦公區域、廁所、A棟客用電梯等空間。
• 任何人士不得與高壓氣體鋼瓶、液氦、液氮或廢液同處貨梯內。
• 若因不符規定導致化學品洩漏，由違規實驗室承擔相關環安衛責任。

Dear all,

In view of the incident on October 13, during which some laboratories did not correctly use the designated waste liquid cart (removing the metal safety guard) and were observed transporting waste liquids with carts lacking protective rails, the department provides the following measures regarding the transport of chemicals (including chemical reagents, solvents, experimental samples, and laboratory waste). These measures may be adjusted as needed based on implementation conditions.

• Chemicals include chemical reagents, solvents, experimental samples, and laboratory waste.
• When transporting any chemicals outside the laboratory area, appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times. Chemicals must be properly sealed and placed in a leak-proof secondary container.
• When transporting waste liquids, the department’s designated waste liquid cart (or a cart equipped with protective rails) must be used correctly. Each cart may carry up to eight waste containers per trip. After use, please return the cart to Room G60 for the next user.
• During waste disposal, personnel must wear PPE, and each laboratory must assign a member to remain on-site until the waste collection vehicle departs. Laboratories whose personnel fail to wear PPE during disposal may have their waste refused by the NTU-EHS Center.
• Personnel wearing PPE are not permitted to enter teaching and office areas, restrooms, or the passenger elevator in Building A.
• No one is allowed to be inside a freight elevator together with high-pressure gas cylinders, liquid helium, liquid nitrogen, or waste liquids.
• If a chemical spill occurs due to noncompliance, the responsible laboratory shall bear all related EHS liabilities.
