諾貝爾物理學獎得主 Serge Haroche 博士將應「臺灣橋梁計畫」(Taiwan Bridges Project) 邀請訪問臺灣。1月16日上午10點，原分所將於浦大邦紀念講堂舉辦一場與 Haroche 博士的座談會。

Haroche博士因其在單一光子之量子態操控與研究方面的開創性貢獻，榮獲2012年諾貝爾物理學獎。本次座談會將提供難得的機會，讓與會者與Haroche博士進行直接交流，討論內容預計涵蓋他投身物理學的個人學習歷程，以及他對量子科學未來發展的觀點。

Nobel laureate Dr. Serge Haroche will visit Taiwan under the Taiwan Bridges Project. On the morning of January 16, a panel discussion with Dr. Haroche will be held at the Poe Lecture Hall, IAMS (NTU campus) at 10 am.

Dr. Haroche received the 2012 Nobel Prize in Physics for his pioneering work on the control and study of single photons. This panel discussion offers a rare opportunity for direct dialogue, ranging from his personal journey into physics to his perspectives on the future of quantum science.
