馬汀尼斯教授將回顧量子運算技術自基礎物理驗證以來的重大進展,並剖析當前量子電腦在規模化與實用化過程中所面臨的挑戰。他認為若要邁向百萬量子位元,實現可應用的量子系統,勢必要跳脫傳統實驗室架構,結合半導體產業的先進製程與設施,透過晶片化與三維整合技術,推動量子科技從科研邁向產業。這場演講將對量子科學與跨域工程的發展,提供最前沿的觀點及深刻見解。

Lecture Synopsis:
In this lecture, Dr. Martinis will review the progress of superconducting qubits since the experimental realization of macroscopic quantum phenomena in the 1980s, and highlight the critical technological bottleneck currently faced by the field, the challenge of scaling up quantum devices constrained by conventional wiring architectures. He will argue that achieving practical, large-scale quantum computing requires a paradigm shift toward industrial-level semiconductor fabrication, advanced cryogenic integrated circuits, and 3D integration, moving quantum technology decisively from the laboratory to the fabrication facility.
