Public Lecture and Forum on Quantum Science and Technology
This event features a public lecture and forum aimed at introducing the fundamental concepts of quantum science and exploring its applications and advancements in modern technology and frontier research.
The lecture, titled “The Quantum Age: From Atomic Clocks to Quantum Computers,” will be delivered by Professor Vladan Vuletić (MIT), Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Chief Technology Officer of QuEra Computing. Using the development of atomic clocks and quantum computers as key examples, the lecture will highlight the current frontiers of quantum science and technology and their transformative impact.
The forum will feature Professor Vuletić alongside Academician Cheng Chin (University of Chicago), Research Fellow Ying-Cheng Chen (Institute of Atomic and Molecular Sciences, Academia Sinica), and Associate Research Fellow Ming-Shien Chang (Institute of Atomic and Molecular Sciences, Academia Sinica). The panelists will engage in discussion with the audience on the current state of quantum research, academic pathways for students, and future trends in quantum technology development.

量子科技科普演講及論壇
本活動包含科普演講及論壇，主旨在介紹量子科學的基礎概念，以及其在現代科技與前沿研究中的應用與發展。
演講題目為「量子時代：從原子鐘到量子電腦」， 由麻省理工學院（MIT）教授暨 QuEra 原子平台量子電腦公司技術長Vladan Vuletić主講，內容將以原子鐘與量子電腦的發展為例，討論量子科學與技術的前沿發展現況。
座談會由主講人及金政院士（芝加哥大學）、及中央研究院原子與分子科學研究所的 陳應誠研究員 及張銘顯副研究員 共同擔任與談者，和與會者交流討論量子科技的研究現況、學習規劃及其發展趨勢。
